First
Verse
I wonder and wonder, if there'll come a
day, when the girl of my dreams will exist. I wonder and wonder
and hope that there may, For only in dreams we kissed. I see
her fair face every night in my dreams, it's as sweet as the
roses that bloom, But soon it is morn and then she is gone,
So I say as she fades with the moon.
Second
Verse
There's millions of girls in this beautiful
world, there's a girl for each boy so they say; So I'll wait
thro' the years 'till my dream girl appears, For I know I
shall meet her some day How happy I'd be at the break of the
dawn, Just to find her at rest in my arms, Never more have
to sigh, Never more say goobye, To the girl of those wonderful
charms.
Chorus
Goodbye little girl of my dreams Goodbye
little girl of my dreams, I'd like to feel, That you are real,
For you are mine it seems, Lovelight in your eyes brightly
gleams, You say just for me that it beams So I'll love only
thee, Tho' in dreams it may be, Goodbye little girl of my
dreams.

Verse
Wonder world of mine would that I were thine,
ever more You were always kind all the joy I find, at your
door Love and all it means I found in nature scenes with the
one that I adore
Chorus
On a moonlight night, On a beautiful moonlight
night Stars shine bright, and you gaze to your hearts delight
Romance comes on its wings and with dawn takes flight Loved
one sweet one, moonlight and you are wonderful.

First
Verse
You've said goodbye and everything is over
now it seems, And all you left behind for me were dreams,
just shattered dreams; For you were all I had, the only happiness
I knew, You went away without a word, you proved your love
untrue.
Second
Verse
I see you as I saw you on the day we two
first met, You seemed as an angel from above your smile I
can't forget; The smiles that made me think, perhaps, some
day for me you'll care, The smile that promised untold joy,
but left me in despair
Chorus
You never meant the kisses that you gave
me, I've paid with tears for every bit of joy, You made a
plaything of my heart, the heart I gave to you, You broke
it like a child would break a toy; The love you gave was like
a fading flower, The kind of love that lives for just a day,
But forgive you, dear, I will, God knows, I love you still,
Tho' you broke my heart, to pass the time away.

First
Verse
You made me think you cared for
me, ANd I believed in you, You told me things you never meant,
And made me think them true. I gambled in the game of love,
I played my heart and lost, I'm now a wreck, Upon life's sea,
Alone I pay the cost.
Second
Verse
The dreams
I dreamed of future joys You smiled on though you knew, Deep
down within your faithless heart, They never come true, Still
further on you lead me till my paradise I saw, Then with one
word you banished all my hopes for evermore.
Chorus
You made me what
I am today, I hope you're satisfied, You dragged and dragged
me down until my soul within me died; You've shattered each
and every dream, You fooled me from the start, And though
you're not true, May God bless you, That's the curse of an
aching heart. |

First
Verse
A soldier from the SOuth and
a soldier from the North who fought each other back in sixty-two
Met on the street one day one wore a suit of grey, The other
wore a tattered suit of blue, One said he loved the South
the best the other said the North. They argued till the tears
came to their eyes But Dixie's son, a boy in blue said: Gentlemen
the war is through, So love the flag no matter where it flies.
Second
Verse
The soldier
from the North and the solider from the South were listening
to the soldier boy in blue They shook each other's hand, and
seemed to understand, That they should love old Uncle Sammy
too, They marched together down the street as comrades ought
to do. The war is over and they were satisfied, And Dixie's
son, the boy in blue, at last was mighty happy too, And to
himself again he softly sighed:
Chorus
I love the whole
United States from Boston Massachusetts to Frisco's golden
gates, the cotton fields of Dixie the Maple trees of Maine,
the mountains of Virginia I love them all the same, I love
the fields of Illinois and Georgia where my sweetheart waits
every city large and small in Yankeeland I love them all I
love the whole United States.
